Made in Italy. Most likely in the 1970's by Murano Vetri. Wired for the U.S.A. and Canadian electrical grid with an inline switche. I acquired this lamp in Montreal, Canada and believe it was originally purchased from "Les Industries Century Industries Inc., Montreal, Canada". Gorgeous white swirl Murano mushroom table lamp. More spectacular in person than the pictures can do justice. The wonderful swirl patterning in the glass is spellbinding both in the off setting and illuminated. This lamp will look stylish in a mid-century home just as well as it will fit into today's modern styling. The lamp is a soft white color and depending on the colors in the room, the softness of the light coming in, and the type of bulb used in the lamp, color intensity may vary. This is part of what makes these Murano mushroom lamps so desirable and so sought after despite the passage of time.
DIMENSIONS: 19" high x 14 3/4" diameter at the bottom of the mushroom cap, 7 5/8" diameter at the top of the lamp, 8 3/4" diameter base. Cord 6.5' long.
CONDITION: Very good to excellent vintage condition. Very good classification is only because they are vintage and there may be the odd scratch, blemish that I have not detected. Light is in excellent working condition. Air bubbles and flaws in the glass may be present which are to be expected given the manufacturing process. Thia lamp are hand made and the glass may have slight imperfections which is to be expected given the manufacturing techniques. Please review all photographs (ZOOM IN) for more condition information.
