Hans J. Wegner designed the chair in 1951/52 and presented the CH30 chair in 1954. Solid oak frame with bent ply teak seat and backrest.
This chair has had one owner, a young couple in their nineties. I acquired four. The chair is exquisitely designed with great attention to detail (much like so many of the Danish designs of the mid century era). The chair is a delight for sit in with scoop seat and perfect height of the back rest. The colors in the teak wood make it a standout in any decor motif of modern day.
This is the fourth and last chair of this original set.
DIMENSIONS: 29 1/2" high to the top of the backrest, 16 1/2" high to the top of the seat, 20 1/8"" wide x 15" deep.
CONDITION: Very good original vintage condition. Original finish. I have cleaned and oiled the chair, preserving its original rich patina of six or seven decades. **Unfortunately the chair seat was damaged upon receipt. I have patched the seat with teak veneer as seen in the photographs. Please refer closely to all photographs (ZOOM IN) for more condition information.
