Designed by Russel Wright for Imperial Glass Co., Ohio. These were made for Imperial Glass to accompany Wright's Iroquois Casual line of dinner ware. Each glass is hand blown and may contain air bubbles in the glass from this artisan process. Heavy weighted glass which feel soooo good in your hand. These glasses jump out at the collector and vintage seller as being completely unique in weight and design. There are many pinch glass items on the market but none quite like the exquisite Russel Wright Imperial Glass Tumblers. Russel Wright and his wife were instrumental in bringing sophistication and midcentury design into the every day table presentation in the day. His designs meant that casual design had nothing casual about it!
DIMENSIONS: 4 1/4" tall x 3 1/2" diameter.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. Wear consistent with limited usage in my opinion. Please examine all photographs (ZOOM IN) for more condition information.
