These chairs are from a Swiss family that after years residing in Canada returned to Switzerland.
Bruno Rey design a wooden chair in 1971, the “Rey Chair”, that would become the most successful Swiss chair of all time. Born 1935 in Brugg (Switzerland). The design that emerged from a period of countless experiments was model 3300, the Rey chair, which became one of the most iconic pieces of Swiss industrial design. Made of local beech wood, it was constructed with a unique, screw-less signature metal-to-wood connection. DIMENSIONS: 30 3/4" high; 17 1/2" high to the seat; 17 3/8" deep.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. No significant damage other than the wear on one of the chair legs as seen in the final two photographs. Typical wear as expected from 1970's chairs. Please examine the video and all photographs for more condition information.
