Wonderful! That's all I can say about this classic, 1982 Ikea floor lamp. On a recent buying trip, I spotted this lamp and fell in love. A great shape, the size is just right for beside a lounger chair, a sofa, or other sitting area furniture. The black seamless metal shade and stand seem as though they are all one piece with nothing to interrupt the eye as you take it all in visually. A great metal shade in black as well as it's simple black base make this a winner in my eyes. Great for any home either classic or retro in design as it will stay in an unassuming corner until it's summoned to do its duty. A great present for a newly wedded couple, a recent graduate, or for the first time home buyer. What a fabulous piece of Ikea lore. Back in the days when Ikea meant design, quality, and ingenuity! This light will not disappoint!
Details: This lamp first appears in the 1981 Ikea catalogue.
Dimensions: 48 3/4" high x 18 5/8" diameter shade, base is 9 1/2" diameter, cord is 5' long from base.
Condition: Good to very good vintage condition. Small scratches on the center pipe, shade and base (refer to photographs). Please examine all photographs (ZOOM IN) for more condition information.
